The Friction Ledger is where Ribuo records the cost that polite planning often leaves unnamed. A plan may be affordable on paper and still too heavy for the week in which it must live. A tool may be cheaper than the old one and still demand a new rhythm nobody has agreed to practice. A move may be emotionally correct and still need a landing routine.

Ribuo treats friction as information, not failure. The ledger asks whether the drag is temporary, structural, emotional, technical, or social. Temporary drag may need a buffer. Structural drag may require a smaller route. Emotional drag may need a clearer goodbye to the old way. Social drag may need a different first audience.
